Who we are

Nexus NHP is a founder-led regulatory consulting practice built to support companies navigating Canada’s complex Natural Health Product (NHP), Veterinary Health Product (VHP), and cosmetics landscape.

Founded by Adrian Rodriguez, Nexus NHP is grounded in nearly two decades of specialized consulting experience in regulatory affairs and compliance. Since 2009, Adrian has advised companies across the full product lifecycle—from early-stage development through to market access and post-market compliance—supporting thousands of successful product registrations.

His consulting foundation was developed within some of the most established firms in the industry. Beginning at NHP Consulting Inc., Adrian continued through its acquisition by Cannabis Compliance Inc., and later into Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice following its acquisition in 2019. Each of these organizations was recognized as a leader in its field, providing Adrian with a depth of experience across boutique consulting, high-growth industry specialization, and global professional services.

In 2022, Adrian established Nexus NHP to deliver a more focused, high-touch consulting model—one where clients have direct access to senior expertise and benefit from both strategic insight and practical execution. The practice is built on responsiveness, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of how regulatory decisions impact real-world business outcomes.

At Nexus NHP, consulting extends beyond the preparation and submission of regulatory applications. It is a strategic, end-to-end approach that ensures compliance within a complex and rapidly evolving regulatory and commercial environment—aligning Health Canada requirements with your broader business objectives.

Known for a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach, Adrian partners closely with clients to navigate ambiguity, manage risk, and move forward with clarity. At the core of Nexus NHP is a commitment to strong, lasting relationships—and to helping clients bring compliant, successful products to market.
